Sarah has a Bachelors in Elementary Education from Longwood University and a Master’s in Reading from Old Dominion University. She taught kindergarten, second grade and third grade for Portsmouth Public Schools for 7.5 years. Sarah is one of 9 siblings and has been around children her whole life, as her mother had an in-home daycare. Sarah has 19 nieces and nephews and has a lot of experience working with infants, toddlers and kids of all ages. Sarah has been married to her college sweetheart, Carlos, since 2015 and they have two children, a boy and a girl and a Mahogany Golden Retriever named Koji. Sarah has always had a passion for working with kids and absolutely adores working with the birth to three age group. Sarah is an active member of the church that she grew up in. She enjoys spending time with her family, going on walks, going to Farmer’s Markets and going out to eat.
