Stevie Jo Tibbetts has been a registered Occupational Therapist since 2015. She earned her Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Sonoma State University. Her pediatric experience includes working as an assistant preschool teacher and participating in a specialized Autism training program with children and their families. As an OT, Stevie Jo has experience in outpatient and school systems. In addition to working with children, she also work with adults in an acute care hospital setting. She enjoys furthering her knowledge and has earned a certification as a Balance and Mobility Specialist. She is a member of the Professional Advisory Board at South University’s Occupational Therapy Assistant Program and is a Compass Member for Global Autism. Stevie Jo enjoys volunteering at St. Mary’s Home for Disabled Children in Norfolk. When she is not working, you can find her outdoors kayaking, camping, running, or working out at Orange Theory Fitness.
