Jasmine has a BS in Child Development and Family Studies from West Virginia University. During her time at WVU she did both infant/toddler and preschool internships, worked at a local childcare center, and volunteered at several elementary schools preschool classrooms. Jasmine grew up in West Virginia her entire life in a very small town. She started working with children right out of high school as a respite care provider for a child in her town. She says, “I have always had a passion for working with children. I wanted more opportunities so I decided to move to Virginia to be closer to my best friend.” Jasmine was a teacher and then became the Assistant Director at a childcare center. This allowed her new opportunities, gaining knowledge more on the business side, and my leadership skills. She enjoys hanging out with friends/family, loves movies, watching football (GO Mountaineers!), and hanging out with her two cats.
