Shelby grew up in rural southwest Virginia. She attended Radford University for both her undergraduate and graduate degree in speech-language pathology, and graduated in 2020. Since graduate school, she has spent time serving as a speech therapist in Montgomery County Public Schools. She really enjoy working with augmentative and alternative communication, and finding a functional mode of communication for everyone. When she is not working you can find her at our lake house on Claytor Lake or walking her two dogs.
