Dr. Rebecca Epperson is a pediatric physical therapist with 8 years of clinical experience in a variety of settings including: outpatient orthopedics, inpatient rehab, home health pediatrics and outpatient pediatrics. She is a certified Pilates Instructor for both mat and reformer exercise and CPR/First Aid for the professional rescuer certified. Rebecca graduated from Old Dominion University in 2010 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and from the University of Virginia’s College at Wise in 2007 with her Bachelors of Science in Biology. Rebecca has experience in the evaluation and treatment of children with Torticollis, Cerebral Palsy, Trisomy 21, Trisomy 13, Spina Bifida, Developmental Delay, Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder, Toe Walking, Post-Surgical Procedures, and Pediatric Obesity. She is also experienced in recommending/ordering custom made orthotics, AFOs, and durable medial equipment for her patients.
Rebecca is married to an officer in the U.S. Coast Guard and they have 2 very energetic young daughters. In her spare time Rebecca loves spending time at the beach, paddle boarding, kayaking and competing in triathlons. Rebecca is happy to be back in her home state and is looking forward to helping her patients and families meet their goals with physical therapy.
