DESCRIPTION:Our Salem Clinic will offer pediatric Hearing Screenings on Friday\, November 3\, 12PM-3PM for ages 3+. Screenings will be completed by a Speech-Language Pathologist Graduated Student and a CTC supervising clinician. This is not a full audiological evaluation\, but will test a few frequencies and can indicate if there are concerns for hearing loss. CTC will provide documentation of results. Please consider dropping off non-perishable food items at our Franklin\, Chesapeake\, South Hill or Salem clinics between October 16th-November 17th. Items will be donated to our little friends and their families who need assistance during the holidays. Any remaining items will be donated to local social services or food banks. Susan has shared her conversations of hope with many audiences\, ranging from one-on-one settings to keynote presentations to a TEDx talk. You can hear Susan weekly in her podcast for medical and special needs mamas\, the When Autumn Comes Podcast. In 2022 she founded The Apricity Hope Project\, a nonprofit organization that cares for caregivers of medically complex children.
