CTC COVID-19 EARLY INTERVENTION PATIENT UPDATE

To all CTC Early Intervention Families and Patients,

At Children’s Therapy Concepts, LLC we take the health, safety and overall well being of our patients and staff very seriously.  As with all cold and flu seasons, we practice universal precautions, extreme care and hygiene when working with your children.

Below are some updates and information to help all of us navigate this unfamiliar situation and provide the best care possible for your child:

If you, your child or anyone in your immediate family/household has a cough, fever or any other flu-like symptoms, please make sure you talk to your child’s therapist and/or a CTC office representative before your appointment.  We will try to work together to reschedule the appointment.

At CTC we are committed to take precautionary measures, as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and public health agencies:

  • We make proper hand washing a priority.
  • We are making sure that any CTC team member who is feeling sick will stay home for the appropriate quarantine period.

As a home-based patient, we want to remind you that, weather pending, our therapists can meet your child in open-aired community settings, such as a park or outdoors.  This precaution is given to help protect everyone.  Additionally, our therapists will continue to use hand sanitizer but best practices including hand washing upon entering your home.

It is important to note that this virus has not had a significant impact on the pediatric population; however, we take our responsibility to keep it from reaching those who are vulnerable very seriously.

For more information on COVID-19 we recommend you follow the information provided by the Centers for Disease Control: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html

We encourage open communication with your child’s therapist and/or the CTC Staff.  Each therapist in our company is responsible for their own schedules.  If you need to cancel an appointment due to illness, please reach out to your child’s therapist or leave a message with our office immediately.

This is an evolving situation.  We are in the process of investigating other options to meet your family’s therapy needs during this time of uncertainty.  Please follow our CTC Facebook page (facebook.com/childrenstherapyconcepts) and website (www.childrenstherapyconcepts.com) for current updates.

Sincerely,

Your team at Children’s Therapy Concepts
