Meet Stevie Jo!

My name is Stevie Jo Sundberg and I have been a registered Occupational Therapist since 2015. I earned my Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Sonoma State University. My pediatric experience includes working as an assistant preschool teacher and participating in a specialized Autism training program with children and their families. As an OT, I have experience in outpatient and school systems. In addition to working with children, I also work with adults in an acute care hospital setting. I enjoy furthering my knowledge and have earned a certification as a Balance and Mobility Specialist. I am a member of the Professional Advisory Board at South University’s Occupational Therapy Assistant Program and I am a Compass Member for Global Autism. I also enjoy volunteering at St. Mary’s Home for Disabled Children in Norfolk. When I am not at work, you can find me outdoors kayaking, camping, running, or working out at Orange Theory Fitness.
